In the city of Barcelona on the northeast coast of Spain, you’ll find everything your heart desires. Whether you’re into gastronomy and wine, lovely sandy beaches, Picasso, Miró and Dalí, world-class architecture, shopping or the active life of golf, tennis and even skiing, Barcelona is something very special.

Unique to Barcelona is that you can wander around the entire city centre on foot, as the distances are limited. A good place to start a stroll around the city is at la Sagrada Familia the magnificent church, designed by Antoni Gaudi and undoubtedly Barcelona’s biggest attraction. From la Sagrada Familia you can continue your journey in many directions. You can stroll through the Eixample area, where you can shop in exclusive brand stores, or perhaps continue to another of Gaudi’s well-known works, park Güell. If you need wind in your hair and the fragrance of the salty sea instead, you must certainly continue your stroll down the city’s beautiful beach promenade.

When the day is drawing to a close and your feet are tired, it is highly recommended to end the day at one of Barcelona’s many outstanding restaurants.
