The homes we delivered in 2021

At MyHomes, more and more families who love to travel are becoming co-owners of luxury homes in Europe. In 2021 alone, 120 owners have seen the benefits of owning homes together with others, where MyHomes takes care of everything from buying homes to organising interior design, maintenance and cleaning.

With so many owners signing up, there is a need to intensify the search for homes with the right potential and the best location in Europe.

In 2021 alone, we delivered eight turnkey luxury homes ready for holiday use, while also acquiring ten new homes on behalf of our excited owners. You can read more here and, not least, at the end of the article, see lots of photos of the properties that were transformed into homes for the owner families in 2021.

MODERN HOMES IN MARBELLA
The sweet life in Southern Spain offers more than 2,900 hours of sunshine every year and is known for its beaches, cultural experiences and world-class golf. With a home in Marbella, owners are guaranteed a sunny holiday, whatever the season. In Marbella, we transformed two homes in 2021:

A modern apartment of 109 m2 with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large 40 m2 terrace with beautiful views of the sea and the city.

And a magnificent villa measuring 248 m2, with four spacious bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The villa also has an activity room and a large, open-plan kitchen with access to the 114 m2 terrace with its own private swimming pool. The home is a wonder to behold, and we’ve heard reports that the home has created a host of good holiday memories for the owners since it was handed over.

APARTMENTS WITH A VIEW IN VILLEFRANCHE
In Villefranche, we are keeping a special lookout for homes with an amazing view, and it has to be said that the two homes we delivered to our Comfort associations have such views. Both homes cover approximately 70 m2, divided into two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and both have a fine, sunny terrace from which owners can enjoy the view of the Mediterranean and Villefranche Bay.

Each of the apartments also has access to a large swimming pool, which owners can make use of when they want to cool down.

BREATHTAKING HOME IN MEGÈVE
Situated close to the expansive slopes, hiking trails, cycling paths and the charming, cobbled village of Megève, owners are guaranteed an active holiday in natural surroundings. Two homes were added in Megève in 2021. A 73 m2 chalet apartment with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a cosy open-plan kitchen and a terrace.

And there’s a Premium home, also in a classic chalet with a beautiful view – and a little bigger. The home itself is 115 m2 with three spacious bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, as well as two terraces, from which Megève’s beautiful natural surroundings can be experienced all year round.

URBAN APARTMENT IN BARCELONA
A home in Barcelona provides access to a world of culture, gastronomy and shopping in a charming setting. So it was excited Premium owners who started using their new city apartment in mid-2021.

In the middle of Barcelona’s narrow streets in the old El Born district, lies an authentic and beautiful building, where we transformed a 106 m2 corner apartment into a home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. During the renovation process, the original brick walls were exposed, while the floor, windows, kitchen, etc. were replaced. From the apartment, owners have access to a cosy rooftop terrace, from where they can enjoy the view of Barcelona’s colourful rooftops.

A HOME BUILT FROM SCRATCH IN PIEDMONT
In Piedmont, we handed over the keys to a very special stone building, which was MyHomes’ first full construction project. The house covers 220 m2 with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a large terrace with infinity pool, from which the owners can enjoy the view of both the Italian and French Alps. The end result was particularly well received by enthusiastic owners, who have since enjoyed the tranquil life in Piedmont in their own home. We have subsequently started two new construction projects from scratch in Northern Italy.
